Triptiek
A candle holder design in honor of the Van Eyck year 2020. The rounded shapes are inspired by the 3-part layout of The Ghent Altarpiece. In addition, it is an abstract reference to the religious symbol of the Holy Trinity. The candle holders were made of a typical Belgian natural stone, the Rouge Royal, a stone that is also often found in religious buildings. Production was done by Compaan, a local and socially responsible company.
